Stories and Watercolors marks the first publication of short stories by artist William Allan. The book accompanied an exhibit of Allan’s paintings at the American University Museum in Washington, DC. Instead of separating text and image, this small, continuous-reading book presents Allan’s stories and paintings on equal ground.
