Nighttime drips from the sky like baked chocolate. The dust bitten Arizona desert air reflects the orange-brown hue of the sodium vapor lights, which emanate from the town nearby. This orangish hue causes the alabaster cliffs of the gravel quarry to have a weird mint green glow. It’s a green I recognize but cannot place. It’s a green I will see again, but will not recognize.
